Dynasty works for Charity

In addition to sponsoring the catwalk at the important awareness-raising event, occasion wear house Dynasty also donated one of the lots that went into the charity’s auction. A substantial amount of money was raised and the highest bidder won a day at the Dynasty showroom, with an opportunity to meet the designers and choose an outfit with the help of a personal stylist.

Dynasty was proud to be one of the sponsors of the Breast Cancer Care London Fashion Show which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 7th October 2009. The 25 models, all of whom had been diagnosed with breast cancer, looked wonderful in Dynasty gowns.

LOCAL FIRM SHORTLISTED AS FINALIST FOR THE 2010 BRIDAL BUYER AWARD

Dynasty has been shortlisted in the Best Occasion wear Collection category of The 2010 Bridal Buyer Awards, organised by Bridal Buyer magazine.

The event is a highlight on the industry’s calendar and is regarded as Europe’s top bridal awards ceremony; this year there were more than 300 entries and nominations across the 17 awards categories.

The trophies will be presented at a glittering awards ceremony at the Harrogate International Centre on Monday 15 March, during the British Bridal Exhibition (14-16 March). The evening will be hosted by the premier Award – winning comedian and TV presenter Dominic Holland and 600 leading names within the UK bridal industry are expected to attend.

According to Susi Rogol – editor of Bridal Buyer magazine and bridalbuyer.com – the entry rate and quality of entries in the Bridal Buyer Awards 2010 surpassed all expectations. “That Britain produces a wealth of talent in the bridal industry is no surprise – we have a reputation the world over for cutting edge creativity; it is the fact that we continue to innovate and deliver the highest possible standards of design, manufacture and customer service, that never ceases to amaze. The Bridal Buyer Awards underpins the rich offerings in this vibrant industry and highlights those who lead the way. Within this tough and ever changing climate Dynasty has continued to impress, their new and innovative designs make them a competitive candidate at finalist’s stage in the Best Occasion wear Collection category.”

The sponsors of the awards include Confetti, Ian Stuart Bride, Wedding TV, British Bridalwear Association, Swarovski, Liza Designs & Justin Alexander.
